What wears on EcoSport / Endeavour in India
EcoSport (B-segment SUV on the Fiesta platform) and Endeavour (body-on-frame, U375 platform) are very different cars but share one thing in Indian conditions: they are driven hard on broken roads. Common wear items:

- EcoSport lower control-arm bushes — 60–90,000 km on Bangalore roads.

OE supplier and OES alternatives
EcoSport OE shock supply was Sachs (ZF) and KYB depending on production year. Control arms and links were Lemförder or TRW. Bushings are typically the failure point — replace the complete arm rather than the bush alone (which is often not sold separately on this platform).
Endeavour OE shock supply varied: older 3.0 / 3.2 Endeavour used KYB / Sachs; the post-2018 facelift Endeavour Titanium+ used Bilstein on selected variants. For value, Monroe and KYB OES are honest picks. For owners who tow or carry load regularly, Bilstein B6 is the well-tested upgrade.

Common pitfalls on EcoSport / Endeavour
Three mistakes we routinely see, especially as parts get sourced through informal channels post-Ford India exit:
- No-name shocks on EcoSport. The platform is sensitive to damper quality — generic shocks cause floaty highway feel and uneven tyre wear in 8,000 km. Stick to Sachs, KYB or Monroe OES.
- Endeavour owners under-spec'd for tow / load use. If you tow a trailer or carry 5+ adults regularly, Bilstein B6 or Monroe Reflex is the honest pick — standard-replacement shocks wear faster.
- Skipping wheel alignment after arm / bush replacement. Both cars need full geometry reset after suspension work, or you will burn the inside-edge of front tyres in 5,000 km.
